Rustie at Village Underground
Warp Records’ Rustie brings his Green Language Live world tour to the Village Underground, Shoreditch this April.
The Scottish producer has been making waves since dropping his first singles back in 2007 and 2008, signing to Warp in 2010 and going on to win The Guardian’s First Album Award in 2012 for his debut album Glass Swords. Rustie (Russel Whyte) is a Pitchfork favourite, with his Raptor and Attak (featuring Danny Brown) singles both being chosen as Best New Track awards by the site.
Having produced electronic, dupstep, wonky, hip hop and grime Rustie certainly has a diverse style and remains at the front of Glasgow’s burgeoning electronic scene, collaborating with everyone from AlunaGeorge to Hudson Mohawke and Zomby.
Head over to the Village Underground for tickets.
